1993 and 1994 Water Resources Project - N. Oman - Sultanate of Oman- Ministry of Water Resources

Production of a series of image-maps including Landsat Thematic Mapper imagery at 1:100,000 scale with the specific aim of providing up-to-date information to the Ministry of Water Resources for ground water development. The assignment included the identification of appropriate band combinations and the subsequent enhancement, mosaicing, geometric correction and map production to conform to the existing mapping units.

Establishment of a pilot GIS based upon colour aerial photographs, field data collection and conventional, terrestrial photogrammetric and GPS survey methods.
